childhood sweethearts. is there anything better? well ... yes. childhood sweethearts + strawberries! when we first met julie and she described the details of their wedding we had to pick our mouths off the floor. julie and steven are going to have a rockin' wedding on his grandfather's sweetiliscious strawberry ranch. she proceeded to explain that she was not opposed to even climbing on a tractor in full-on wedding fabulousness. just for us. sweet! we plan to hold her to it. :) so from our first meeting we concluded that julie was naturally stunning, uber sweet and out to bring all sorts of fab to the camera. we met steven the day of their engagement shoot. steven is first, very very very tall. and in all the height comes an equally sized sense of humor. he literally made us laugh until the sun went down. but apart from just being really tall and really funny, steven is really really sweet. (yeah we said it again. sweet!) he is very proud of his family's farm and for good reason. it is absolutely beautiful. he was also oh so generous to share their hard work. and it is oh so sweet! strawberry fields forever.

our east coast traveling certainly kept our cameras rearing and ready to go. my sister (in-law) has been a fan of this blog for a while and posed the question of "when her beautiful family would grace its pages?". how could any one deny such a flattering request. they chose the most incredible location, and no we were not in hawaii, it is actually hamilton new jersey. for those folks who have only experienced jersey through newark airport or the turnpike, welcome to the reason why it is dubbed the garden state. we headed down to the lush sayen gardens where we were mystified by the infinite photographic opportunities! and look at that green! my niece, claire, and nephew, jimmy, where the epitome of hams. striking poses that brought tears of laughter to our eyes. they absolutely worked it! and we absolutely loved it! so without any further rambling we would like to introduce you to the charming, amusing, radiant and priceless moscarello clan; james, shannon, jimmy and claire!

after diana + adam's wedding in east hampton we hopped on over to new york city. but for what you ask? to photograph the cutest mama and her belly. 2 people in love + 1 belly + 1 afternoon in one of the most amazing cities = 2 photographers in heaven. we felt as if we had our very own tour guides. but alas we did! we all laughed as we traipsed around their hood. almost got arrested by homeland security. took over central park. almost got run over by some insane range rover driver who hopped onto the sidewalk into our shoot and stayed there for an obscurely odd amount of time. all in a day in new york. thank you christina and mike for your hospitality, city savvy, and great laughs over dinner and wine. we have to give credit to mike who is the beeeeesssstest food and wine connoisseur. mike ordered our meals and picked out our wine. we wish we had a pocket version of him to take everywhere we go! thank you again for a day we will never forget.

we can't wait to meet siena rose. she is one lucky girl to have two very beautiful parents. congratulations!

her beauty will make your heart skip a beat. his will make it melt. together they are breathtaking. what makes them so incredibly amazing is that they are absolutely as beautiful inside. diana and adam embraced us as if we had been their bff's for years. yep, they won us over and we love love love them! so it was no surprise to us to see their many friends and family join them at east hampton point for what has to go down as the best wedding ever!

the stomach guides the mind a lot of times and ours guided us to a great event held at the monterey bay aquarium. it was their 25th year presenting cooking for solutions. the gala combines great chefs, gourmet food, and wonderful wine while educating on sustainable fishing and making smart choices for healthier oceans . we had the pleasure of being invited to photograph chef anthony keene of citronelle restaurant at carmel valley ranch. chef keene was cooking up some tasty treats of porcini mushrooms with spicy greens. yum! and once again we got to admire the floral creations of fleur de vie. can anyone say we love our job? we can! here are just a few shots from the event and please check out the monterey bay aquarium site for more information on their amazing conservation events!
