as you are recuperating from your 2012 new year’s haze, JL is looking back at a year full of adventure, new loves and exciting changes ... J said yes to a proposal + L said yes to motherhood. but our new beginnings don't end with a shiny ring and diaper changes ... wait for it ... wait for it ... (insert mayan joke here), we have also added new zip codes to the mix. JL has expanded and we’ve gone bi-coastal! J has re-located to the new england area and L is now based in southern california. east + west + (as always) wherever our cameras take us! :)

but don't fret! even though the J + L are no longer attached at the hip, you can still book the dynamic duo to document all those special moments. we want our past, current and future clients to know that we are and always will be committed to keeping our passion alive for what we do. our creativity will continue to thrive and grow. and we cannot wait to capture all the new beginnings of your lives as well.

and even though we no longer can chat via facebook with only 3 feet between us, we are super excited about the opportunities that are ahead of us. we are looking forward to sharing our new portfolios + updated site with you soon and wish everyone a new year full of exciting adventures and above all love.

1. if you spend the first 6 weeks of your relationship living in a van and you don't kill each other it was meant to be
2. when on the beach make sure you always have your dog on a leash
3. firemen in santa cruz are HOT
4. strangers can be thoughtful and caring
5. wet dogs are heavy
6. our clients are heroic
